Disney's California Adventure improvements

Can't wait for the new DCA improvements to be completed. Among them are:

• CARS LAND (4 new attractions including Test Track ride system!!!!)
• return of the Flying Saucers attraction
  
• Ariel's Undersea Adventure
• Silly Symphony Swings
• Red Car trolley system returns
• Wonderful World of Color water show
• Carthay Circle Theater replica (1928 Snow White premiere)
• New Entrance, similar to Hollywood Studios in Orlando

Completion isn't scheduled until 2012, but many will be open by 2010 as photos show preparation for the new Ferris Wheel and Water Show lagoon installation.

SUMMER LOVIN'

It's summer in the OC once again, so you know what that means. The boys will be hittin' the beaches. Time to dig out those mirrored sunglasses again. Don't want to be caught starin'!

THE NEW OC BEING BUILT

What's happening to my neighborhood? I can't believe this is the OC. It's beginning to look like Manhattan. Not a bad thing really. I'm lovin' it.

Can't wait for the shops and restaurants downstairs to open. I can walk from my condo. Yeah! It's getting more like New York everyday. Even the names of the buildings are the same.

The Answer to the OC's fading Bar Scene

Four friends of mine have combined their initials to form MERJ. Taking an idea from LA's Guerilla Gay Bar concept, this is the OC's latest attempt to have some kind of Gay nightlife that isn't just about hooking up. Check it out at http://www.merjoc.com

Next event is this Friday the 22nd @ KIMERA on Jamboree in Newport Beach. It is literally one block from my house. I think I'll walk so I don't have to drive home tipsy. Anyone want to accompany me? See you there.
